In partnership with San Marcos Unified School District, The San Marcos Promise has developed a new extended year program for children to explore interests, which thrill and excite them. Working with colleges, businesses and community organizations, these enrichment programs will build real-world skills and offer a glimpse into a variety of professions that inspire students to pursue higher education.
The Promise offers scholarship awards to graduates of the San Marcos Unified School District (“SMUSD”) who meet necessary academic benchmarks. It provides the financial assistance necessary to offset the costs associated with higher education, allowing students to achieve their career goals. As a result, students in the SMUSD are prepared & supported to pursue a relevant education beyond high school that will allow them to achieve their career goals. To read more, click the logo.
